Shy Girl Vibes

A shy girl with a blog

Before I tell this very weird story. I just want to say at this moment I’m 18, no job,  very single and have no life.

So last year I became a plant mom. At first I adopted two plants: a nerve plant and a Red Aglaonema and let me tell you I spoil them like crazy. This year I adopted another two plants, a peace lily and a peacock plant. So usually at night I water and mist them before I go to bed because I am not a morning person.

So a couple weeks ago I was on a call with my best friend and one of my guy friends and we were just on facetime talking about everything that’s been going on. It was getting late so I started watering my plants and misting when he asked me what I was doing. I explained that I was taking care of my plants.

He then asked jokingly “do you have names for your plants?” With no hesitation at all I said “Julia,Gillian, Lily and Ms Peacock”. I didn’t really think anything of it. But when I was laying in bed I was thinking to myself and how I said them without a pause and said it so boldly. What made it more funny to me was that I stutter really bad cause I’m a fast talker but yet when I told him the names I didn’t stutter I didn’t forget one of their names. I then realized at that moment I am a full on plant mom.

So to all the plant moms out there I finally understand how you guys feel about your plants. I felt very weird about the whole thing and I’m starting to wonder maybe that’s one of the reasons I’m so very single. I will admit plants are better than men. They listen, they don’t make up stupid lies and you don’t need to worry about them all the time.

But once quarantine is done and I get a job best believe I will be getting more plants. I will make more room for them and I will name each and everyone of them. Single life is great.

Unfortunately my peacock plant is very very picky and is currently dying.
