Shy Girl Vibes

A shy girl with a blog

High school to what the f!ck am I doing with my life.

This topic is talked about and lot and I have probably talked about it in many blog posts. Do I remember talking about it? Not really… So I thought I would make a blog post just about it and that’s it.

Now when you’re in high school you start planning your life in a sense. Some are applying for colleges and getting jobs and some are just going with the flow of things. I’m doing the second thing the first thing is well too stressful.

Now in school, they don’t teach you things that you really need. Like how to file your taxes or how to budget or how to be an adult. Although I think the first two are the most important and I do wish that we were learned things like that but I already ranted about that in a very early blog post. So when you get out of high school your kinda standing in the middle of everything.

On one side you got different colleges. On another, you got your jobs. One another you have your dreams and how you wanna live life and other very stressful adult things. It’s like one day you were in middle school doing Kahoot and the next your an adult lost broke and have no idea where life will take you.

There’s no handbook or instructions or a how-to on youtube. It’s like building a bookcase with none of that and it’s stressful and I am saying the word stressful way too many times but adulthood is that so I guess it’s ok.

Adulthood is scary and no one can say otherwise because it’s true. All of a sudden you’re planning your life moving out of your parent’s house getting a job and living on your own and making meals for yourself…. You have to make three meals a day for the rest of your life….. Ho-How? I can’t even make one meal without burning it let alone 3.

Don’t get me started on having to pay your one bills and all that very fun stuff. I say in the most sarcastic tone. Like you have electricity, water and subscription bills because cable is way too much money now. So yeah you have all these bills and you have to pay them on time. Adulthood….

But seriously you have no idea what adulthood is like until your in it. I can’t fully say I’m a full ally because well I live with my parents, can’t cook and barely have a job.

Growing up is bound to happen. Unless you stop growing as I did then well you’re just a short adult.

The one adult thing all people in my age group can’t do is make appointments for ourselves because we all have horrible anxiety that makes us hates when we talk to people. The same goes for grocery shopping and talking.

The biggest thing about being an adult though besides everything I named out is you have to care for yourself. Now that seems easy of course but like you are dependent on yourself. Like your body needs your body to cooperate which means that one day when I live alone and there’s a big ass spider in my room I have to kill it myself. I have no idea what that’s has to do with being dependent on yourself just thought I would add it. When I’m home alone even I forgot to drink water I forget to eat. I forget to get up and stretch.

All jokes aside. Growing up looked fun. But now that we have grown up it has come with back pains depression and wondering if I will make food without burning it. Adulthood from what I learned is trial and error and it is terrifying. School just puts us out there and we have to learn for ourselves. I guess in a sense it’s a good way to learn.

But seriously how do I kill a big spider by myself? Asking for a friend
