“Gamer Girl” 

It seems that the sentence or maybe the two words passes a lot of judgment. People have a lot to say about it and some give the evil eye in a sense. Now some other people when they hear it they hype the “gamer girl” up and support them and well in the end they don’t hate on them or pass judgment. 

There are always two sides. Two sides to everything. Literally. I do feel like I say the word literally a bit too much and maybe I should stop. Anyways back to what I was saying everything has two sides. Some people will love and some people will hate and at the end of the day you can’t please everyone. 

I do promise that I’m getting to the point. 

I think. 

I started gaming ever since I was a kid. When the DS was a thing and you had to blow into the other thing to make the game work. Along with that, I had a game cube but thinking back we never really used it. As I got older I still gamed and in high school, I finally got an Xbox and well I played more and more and you get the point. 

Now, if you’re a girl or as they call it a “Gamer Girl” you would know that the online world is satans ass. It didn’t really bother me until this past year when I really got back into playing games. Like GTA online with my friends or rainbow six Siege. Now GTA online is a whole different breed. I just play because me and my friends all are stupid and we all be stupid together. But then you have the buttheads kill you because you driving. Then you have Seige one time I was in a good spot to kill everyone but the guy didn’t like that and he knocked me down got those kills then brought me back. Could it be toxic players or that my Xbox name shows that I am indeed a girl? I don’t know. 

So with all that gaming and toxic players. I started twitch streaming because if I’m gaming why not try to do something with it and I say dumb stuff all the time so I’m kinda funny. Keyword funny. With streaming, I also advertise my stream on Tik Tok Twitter and Instagram and in the words of gamer boys. Because I am a girl that’s why I have horrible aim. If anyone knows the answer to how me being a girl and me having bad aim is somehow connected let me know it would be great. 

Like I know some guys who have worse aim than me. I mean I’m bad don’t get me wrong but I also have great days and is a god at killing people. I am still talking about video games. It’s 2022 and yet it’s still bad for another gender besides males to be playing games. Maybe because men don’t want to be beaten by a woman because it may hurt their ego. Or maybe because they realize we may better reaction times than they do. Well some of us I be zoning out mid-game. 

It’s just weird to me that my gender has anything to do with how I game or Aim. Some guys do not all just hate gamer girls. The amount of hate and judgement is just so weird to me. I wrote this post more not because of the life of a gamer girl it’s more of the confusion and wonder I have that so much hate is involved.

Gaming is a really fun thing and honestly has helped my mental health so much. To the guys who are actually nice to us and actually help and or just let us game without being well a stupid guy thanks. Gaming is fun and I think everyone should be able to give it a try without the world of hate.
